Your job

All areas of the bank manage processes in the business capabilities that their areasoffer. The execution cycle incorporates various complementary practices including 'Business Process Practice (BP)''.

In the main direction Software Engineering (SWE), the business process governance and automation team will work, at a transversal level, in collaboration with the practice of PAs, delivery teams as well as acceleration teams, for BPM (Business Process Management) & hyper-automation governance.

To achieve the bank's objectives (including: simplification, automation and quality execution) we rely on the following 3 pillars:

1- Reuse (foundation brick)

2- Standardization (Positioning & Level of maturity)

3- KPIs (collection and analysis of metrics)

Your daily life

The position consists of an PO major but may require SME tasks

  • Management of the Backlog of cross-functional needs related to the BPM execution platform (Camunda)
    • Life cycle (versioning, patching, users, KPIs, ...)
    • Support (tickets, climbing, exchange, professional services ...)
    • Foundation bricks
    • POC
  • Management of repo ownership in Innersourcing
  • Documentation in confluence and others:
    • Blueprint
    • PNS (Norms and Standards Principle)
    • Training (BNC Academy of Architects)
  • Participate in the specification and development of POC
  • Participate in AAA-SWE (3A SoftWare Engineering)
  • Collaborate on BPM architecture positioning
  • Socialization and co-animation of the BPMTech community (topics, moderator, invitations ...)


Skills required

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering in a field related to the industry.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience as a product owner or business analyst, in IT or digital project delivery
  • Experience of at least 3 years in the following areas: BPMN2, Camunda, Orchestration Pattern
  • 2 years experience in MND
  • 5 years experience in agility and java development
  • Ability to propose constructive, creative and permanent solutions while being proactive
  • Ability to manage priorities in influence, decision-making and verbal and written communication
  • Listening, trust, empathy and emotional intelligence
  • Bilingualism (spoken/written) French and functional English necessary, as you will be dealing with partners (customers, suppliers, consultants) located across Canada.

Preferred skills

  • 3 years of experience in microservices
  • 2 years experience in CI/CD, cloud (AWS), streaming
  • 1 year experience in Golang, RPA.
